In 1977, Otto Penzler published Lew Archer: Private Investigator, which was then the definitive collection of Lew Archer short stories. It contained the 7 stories from The Name is Archer, plus 2 additional stories that originally appeared in Ed McBain's Mystery Book digest in 1960 and the magazine, Argosy in 1965. The first two printings of the book featured a white business card mounted to the brown cloth board of the book and had a clear plastic dust jacket with yellow printing. I included this cover in the upper right corner of the bulletin board in the background.
